I am truly sorry I wasted the time reading this ignorant and hostile article. It is glaringly clear that the author has ZERO experience in MLM. Perhaps the writer was the victim of n unethical sales rep of some MLM, I would assume Herbalife since the rant was aimed at Herbalife? However, nearly all the information posed as facts and evidence herein is hearsay and untrue, or factually inaccurate. I will share that in the 90s my Dad took Nutrisystems and had to have emergency gallbladder surgery.

Nutrisystems then then settled a multi billion dollar law suit as tens of thousands of people were made very sick from their program. Nutrisystems continues, but I did not notice you eviscerate Nutrisystems?

First of all, nearly every organization, corporation, nonprofit, govt entity or company is in the form of pyramid structure. Few people at the top, more underneath, and even more the further down you go. Most "MLMs" provide a legitimate and valuable product or service.

Jim Rohn said that Network Marketing is the surest way to individual self made wealth in the world. And Tony Robbins declares Network Marketing and MLM as the best way to make big money. What the writer neglects to recognize is that 70%+ of new small businesses fail in the first 5 years. Also, not everyone is made to be an entrepreneur.

Most people are built for employment. that is why most people work for a job. AND also why most people squeak by and will never make enough money to live the good life or retire with enough wealth to sustain them. Network Marketing and MLM, if done right does offer this promise. And more than offer it, it fulfills on that promise every day.

My hope is that the writer of this poorly researched and unsubstantiated article does more thorough research. I have had positions in 2 very great network marketing/MLMs for 11 years and I find it tremendous source of passive income.
