Secret Revealed
Sunday Blog Post
OK, so here’s the secret that no one ever talks about. And worse than that, almost no one who knows this secret will divulge it. Why? I have no idea. It’s not like sharing this one insight that can mean the difference between suffering and joy diminishes them at all? In fact, when I expose it, you’ll probably instinctively respond with “Oh, I already knew that.” But the truth is, your subconscious probably hasn’t clued in your conscious being to accept it and use it to your advantage.
It’s so basic I almost hesitate to share it. I mean, you already know it. So maybe I should just drop it?
But then again, what if this one breakthrough makes the difference for your total breakthrough? Would that be right? Could I learn to accept that I had the key to your true greatness and yet, I held back?
NO! I would feel terrible.
So here goes.
The secret you’ve not yet tuned into that can propel you to stellar levels of achievement in every aspect of your life, No matter how hard you work, how good you get, how much money you amass, how facile you become at mastery, and no matter how far you travel in life, life will always have a degree of struggle.
“I’ve been working for 40 years. It should be easier by now.”
“I’ve gone through so much, and I’m still taking the hits.”
Or, “I deserve better/more/easier.”
That’s it.
Simple right?
No?
Why not?
You want more explanation?
OK, here goes.
When the planet Earth was young and new and fish swam in waters and sunlight fell on new, still wet land, a sea creature took a step out of the water and took its first lung-full of fresh, clean air.
It had to take that first deep breath long enough to get to the next step so it could take another deep breath. “I’m not sure how long I can hold on” cried the subject of evolution. But it did it, and so can you.
Then it had to either retreat back to behind the waterline, die, or adapt. Lucky for us it adapted. But imagine how hard it was to grow from a water-based sea dweller to a land-based, air breathing inhabitant in a matter of minutes?
The first breath was tough and almost killed the evolving species, but it persisted and now, the entire planet is populated by once sea swimmers and subterranean and now, here we are, complaining about our plights.
Are you battling an unforgiving environment that wants you D-E-A-D? Are your lungs so weak you can barely breathe Is your entire existence and everything to follow you is dependent upon this one instance in time?
It’s not what happens to you, it’s about how long you can hold your breath til the breakthrough. Like swim coaches with whom I’ve worked tell their swimmers, “Just keep going!”
Have an outstanding day!
